Constitutive (tetR repressible) LacI and RFP expression
This part constitutively expresses LacI and RFP except when repressed by TetR. When cells containing this part are exposed to the inducer molecule IPTG, it can be used to regulate lac-repressible promoters. It was designed to function as an IPTG-controllable tuner for the Double Tunable Synchronized Oscillator. It is advisable to operate this part on a low or medium copy plasmid.
