Ptet (BBa_R0040) constitutively ON and repressed by TetR driving the production of T7 RNA Polymerase. This part uses a strong RBS spoVG from Bacillus subtilis and can be used to regulate the production of T7 RNA Polymerase in Bacillus subtilis by TetR and aTc. It was used by iGEM Unesp Brazil 2018 Team to create a glucose-responsive system in Bacillus subtilis (see the page part for results, https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K2660010).
