The next stage of The Green Canary Project would be to use this part alongside the part AmilCP (BBa_K1467201) as the two reporters in a multi-gene system with the aim of producing a plant that turns yellow on activation of the promoter..... , induced by the pepper pathogen (TALE) AvrBS3. (Similarly, the blue chomoprotein would be expressed on activation of the promoter by the TALE AvrXa27). This would allow identification of the presence of this pathogen in the area.

GoldenGate compatible AmilGFP, Yellow Chromoprotein
