Design Notes

The design of this piece produces a cytosine-mismatched, silver-intercalating, DNA-based nanowires. As such, the use of restriction sites and pre-designed primers were incorporated. These factors and their respective functionalities are documented on the main page.

Source

This part is entirely synthetic and cloned from an oligonucleotide sequence synthesized by Elim Biopharmaceuticals. The design is based off research done by the Akira Ono group.
