hsa-mir-21_Target

hsa-mir-21_Target (BBa_K5086002) is a single-stranded RNA sequence with 22 nucleotides, which is derived from mature hsa-mir-21 and is complementarily paired with the 3' end of the hsa-mir-21_S and hsa-mir-21_S1 sequences. Calculations showed that the correlation coefficient between its expression and the prevalence of lung adenocarcinoma and lung squamous carcinoma amounted to 0.7699, which ranked first among the correlates of lung cancer. Validated by machine learning and expression profiling, this sequence can be used as an effective target for lung cancer diagnosis in stem experiments. hsa-mir-21 belongs to the mir-21 family. mir-21 is involved in several cell cycle regulatory pathways, such as the P13K/AKT pathway, which is an important pathway for cell proliferation and apoptosis, and BCL-2, as a downstream factor of AKT, which has a negative regulatory effect on apoptosis. mir-21 can significantly down-regulate the level of BCL-2, which in turn causes the Caspase8 cascade reaction, which ultimately induces tumor cell genesis. Therefore, the expression of hsa-mir-21 has a role in determining whether a person has lung cancer. The function of this element in the platform: Target: Binds to the probe as a target, and then the polymerase uses it as a primer for a polymerase-mediated chain replacement reaction. The displaced H-chain then undergoes a subsequent chain displacement reaction to produce a fluorescent reporter. Self-enhancement: The H-strand will be replaced by the wt-strand under the polymerase-mediated replacement, and a DNA single strand with the same sequence (U to T) as hsa-mir-21_Target (BBa_K5086002) will be replaced, and the polymerase-mediated strand displacement reaction will be repeated in the first step to realize the self-enhancement of the signal.
