TRAIL-Smac fusion peptide secretion cassette.
This cassette has the required components to generate an anti-tumor fusion protein in the combined conditions of hypoxia and high lactate. The promoter responsible for the regulation of transcription is the AND gate (Part:BBa_K3848002, see the part page for more information) and the anti-tumor fusion peptide is the TRAIL-Smac fusion construct (BBa_K3848000, see the part page for more information). The product of this cassette is designed to be secreted out of the bacterial cell as TRAIL is ligand for the TRAIL receptor on cancer cells.
