TyrP promoter

Part Description

TyrP Promoter is an inducible promoter found in E.coli chormosomes and more specifically K-12 chromosome. This promoter works and is induced when both tyrR gene product & Phenyalanine are present causing increased tyrP transcription.

Usage

TyrP promoter, normally regulate the expression for a part which codes for tyrosine-specific transport system, it is induced when phenylalanine and the tyrR gene product (TyrR dimer)are together ,taking advantage of that we use it to regulate the expression of PAH and ß-galactosidase.
