ompW Promoter

The promoter ompW is regulated by the inhibitor protein ArcA. In the presence of hydrogen peroxide, ArcA is activated and, therefore, ompW is inhibited. For our project, we will use a 56-base pair long sequence of DNA that we will place into a receiving plasmid using BsaI sticky ends. We will then use bacterial transformation to determine the functionality of our promoter sequence.
