Applications of BBa_K1486003

Summary:We developed a new part([http://https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K1777005 BBa_K1777005]) based on this parts. When we planned to use this part to link our fusion component,we found it hard to design a proper primer to amplify it because of mutiple primer binding site as a result of tandem GGGS.Therefore, we first improved it by change the first GGGS to a natural linker obtained from linker database. In addition, the codon is optimized for mammalian, and we insert a NLS to promote locating in cell nucleus. Such an improved GS linker could be easily assembled to your protein via overlap PCR and offer the property of nuclear localization.
