What are parts?

A part is a fragment (wc) of DNA standardized so that it can be used to efficiently develop biological systems in living cells. The part (fragment of DNA) is standardized by flanking both ends with specific restriction enzyme sites. This standardization means that parts are interchangeable and can easily be connected in series by using restriction enzymes to cut and DNA ligase to connect.

What are composite parts

Is two or more basic parts connected in series.
