IPTG-inducible L-Asp producing device

AspA is an aspartate ammonia-lyase, which produces aspartate from fumarate and ammonium ion. Aspartate can be used as a chemoattractant for bacteria including Escherichia coli. In this device, AspA CDS, flanked with RBS and terminator, is under control of lacI-regulated strong promoter. IPTG can be used to induce aspartate production.
