{˂FLAG˃} Flag is a fusion protein tag. Flag is a short hydrophilic 8-amino acid peptide that binds to the antibody M1. The flag-tag can be at either the N or C terminus of the protein of interest. When purifying, the purification condition of the system is non-denaturing which means it allows for active fusion proteins to be purified. PMID: 12536251
