Yeast Secretion Tag

This secretion tag can direct extracellular secretion of any protein fused to it when linked to the C-terminus of that protein. After targeting the fusion through the ER to the golgi, this "pre-pro" tag is cleaved by the KEX-2 protease in the trans golgi, resulting in secretion of protein without this tag attached. To use this tag, attached it directly to your proteins CDS.
