RFP-BA-BbsI (for construction of BA BioBytes 2.0)

Base Plasmid v.2 for the construction of new Bytes-v2. The RFP cassette can be removed using the BbsI enzyme and a new AB ORF style part may be inserted into the plasmid allowing for creation parts for the BioBytes Assembly System-v2.

Usage and Biology

The Base Plasmids v.2 provide a method to create parts for BioByte Assembly System- v.2. The RFP coding cassette provides a selection method for plasmids that have the new part inserted.
