Design Notes

Lactose promoter must be repressed, even though the anti-killergene is expressed constitutively. So, we used low copy plasmid, pSB4K5, and transformed it to KRX, not Top 10. KRX is able to repress the lactose promoter. See KRX genotype[http://www.promega.com/pnotes/94/14410_27/14410_27.pdf].
