PAO102

A gene from Pseudomonas aeruginosa encoding a kind of carbonic anhydrase to converse CO₂ to bicarbonate.

Usage and Biology

The gene PAO102 is native in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and can speed up the conversion between CO₂ and bicarbonate, which is used to address the excessive CO₂ released from P. aeruginosa.
