Tyrosinase(BM)
Description:Tyrosinase that converts tyrosine to dopamine and dopamine to dopaquinone.
Gene Circuit Diagram:
Source:Priestia megaterium or Bacillus megaterium
Result:Construct a brewing yeast vector driven by the GAL1 promoter, using Tyrosinase(BM) as the target gene. By adding an inducer to activate GAL1, the expression of the tyrosinase gene is induced, catalyzing the oxidation of tyrosine into dopamine, which is further oxidized and polymerized to form melanin.Melanin was successfully expressed in yeast.
