Long Linker-Fok_a
This part is the combination of the parts Long Linker ((GlySerGlyGly)x3) and the part the protein domain Fok_a.
Usage and Biology
This combination allows a direct coupling of the protein domain to another part e.g. a tag for purification. The linker can secure an independent function of the protein domain when it is fused to another part. We used the Long Linker to avoid sterical interferences between our protein domain Fok_a and the other connected part.
