Promoter LacI - RBS - LovTAP(ILE427PHE) - Term

Mutated version of BBa_K191003 : the amino acid #427 ILE was mutated into PHE.

Usage and Biology

The reasons and choix of this mutation are given by the results of modeling, under [http://2009.igem.org/wiki/index.php?title=Team:EPF-Lausanne/Results/Mutations Mutations]' section.

The mutated version of LovTAP should react faster and the conformational change should be more stable ( the protein stays in the active form for longer).
