CO2 produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 during PE degradation cannot be intaken by mangroves and may do harm to the environments. So we need PAO102 to deal with the problem of CO2 release. Moreover, we choose the gene from Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1, the engineered bacteria we choose, to ensure the normal expression of the gene.

Design Notes

We use it to improve the efficiency of carbon delivery between the two engineered bacteria. And we choose PAO102 because it natively exists in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which ensures its normal expression in the engineered P.aeruginosa.
