Usage and Biology
TD-GcvP is glycine dehydrogenase.The protein sequence is from Halomonas sp. TD01 strain.The P protein binds the alpha-amino group of glycine through its pyridoxal phosphate cofactor; CO2 is released and the remaining methylamine moiety is then transferred to the lipoamide cofactor of the H protein during the glycine cleavage system(C2M) . This part is used in BBa_xx and BBa_xx.
