Applications of BBa_K4600002

Figure 1: Colony PCR where a pJBEI-6411 plasmid harbouring the TetR and AcrB pump sequence, were tested for uptake. Used a 1kb plus DNA ladder.
We designed primers that bind on either side of the TetR sequence at a distance of 709 base pairs. Only plasmids with the insert should get be cloned in the PCR. The successful colony PCR suggests that there was a successful uptake of the part by the host.
