PETase-R
PETase has PET (poly(ethylene terephtalate) degradation activity first identified in Ideonella sakaiensis. R is the DNA sequence of a repetitive region of PySp1 from the piriform glandular filament of Arachnid. The function of the repeat area is mainly related to the mechanical properties of spider silk fiber.
