MmCAR(Q302E)

MmCAR is a carboxylate reductase. To improve the catalytic activity of 5-hydroxyvaleric acid, we decided to mutant Q302 of MmCAR to acidic amino acid of glutamate (E) to change the polarity of the residues, and evaluated the effect of the mutants on MmCAR catalytic activity.
