The promoter is Ptrc, which can be expressed in E. coli KA30. YciA-sfp-MmCAR was derived from BBa_K1655000, in which the carboxylic acid reductase MmCAR was acid-base mutated at position 302 to replace glutamine with glutamic acid to obtain YciA-sfp-MmCAR (Q302E), which improves the efficiency of carboxylic acid reduction. YahK is an aldehyde reductase. This fragment constructed the 5-hydroxyvaleric acid to 1,5-pentanediol pathway.
