+ | ===Updated 3D Structure of PbrR=== | ||
+ | Part:BBa_K1701001 originally cited the structure of PbrR from PDB ID: 2MTQ (https://www.rcsb.org/structure/2mtq). But according to the literature, PbrR protein is a 145 amino acid sequence while 2MTQ PDB ID protein is a 73 amino acid sequence. While going through the DNA sequence of Part:BBa_K1701001 and translating it, it was found that it will form a 145 amino acid sequence same as PbrR. So while the part sequence is of PbrR, i.e. around 145 amino acids, the structure has 73 amino acids. Hence, it was concluded that the provided structure is wrong. Since the structure of the protein is often integral to its characterisation and modelling, the correct updated structure can be found here: https://www.uniprot.org/uniprotkb/Q58AJ5/entry . |

Updated 3D Structure of PbrR
Part:BBa_K1701001 originally cited the structure of PbrR from PDB ID: 2MTQ (https://www.rcsb.org/structure/2mtq).
