CRP binds with Aptamer_crp (<partinfo>BBa_K4438900</partinfo>) and displaces the crp_trigger_3_phi29 (<partinfo>BBa_K4438905</partinfo>) [1]. This part has complete complementarity with part crp_Target_3(<partinfo>BBa_K4438906<partinfo>). Phi 29 DNA extension polymerase extends the template strand and in-vitro transcription of the duplex forms multiple broccoli light-up aptamers.
