HlyE
HlyE, fully known as hemolysin E, is encoded by hlyE of E. coli, which has been tested as a pore-forming antitumor toxin.
Usage and Biology
HlyE is a toxin, by breaking the cell membrane of the tumor, the tumor cells are destroyed. In our experiments, we used HlyE as a tumor treatment factor and it is connected with the logic gate module and is subject to logic gate control expression.
Characterization
We use HlyE as one of the therapeutic proteins. Characterization details can be found at BBa_K4156119 ; BBa_K4156128 .
