The p7 promoter is a constitutive promoter with high transcriptional activity.


Usage and Biology

This part contains the complement of the constitutive p7 promoter and, therefore, starts transcription in the opposite direction. As a promoter of Boolean logic gate units (OR gate, XOR gate, AND gate), it was used to test the performance of logic gate gates.
