csgA-MBP3
This is a composite part that consist of CsgA and MBP3. CsgA is the major curli subunit protein of E.coli. Therefor, the surface display of MBP3, which can bind Ag(I) and produce nano Ag, achieved by linking to csgA. MBP3 is identified from a combinatorial phage display peptide library, for more information about MBP3, please visit the page of MBP3 that created by iGEM XJTLU_China 2022.
We have tested the function of CsgA-MBP3 part and compared with Mg1655 as control.
We used ICP-MS to measure the unbinding Ag(I) in the supernatant, for detailed information about our measurement method, please visit our method on wiki.
