CsgA-SmtA
CsgA is the major curli subunit protein of E.coli. Therefor, the surface display of SmtA, a protein belongs to Metallothionein family, achieved by linking to csgA.
IGEM_XJTLU 2023 verified the function of CsgA-SmtA by measuring the concentration of Cu(II) and Cd(II) adsorbed by SmtA protein on the surface of E.coli.
