rBC2LCN-fimH surface display

The N-terminal domain of the BC2LCN is going to be displayed on the surface of out minicells by the F1 type fimbirae of Salmonella Typhimurium.

Usage and Biology

The recombinant lectin domain rBC2LCN was inserted downstream of the fimH signal sequence and upstream of an HA tag to allow for visualization of the construct at the bacterial surface. Downstream of the HA tag the fimH coding sequence was inserted. The construct is expressed from the constitutive insulated PproD promoter. Compare to parts BBa_K3861007, BBa_K3861001, BBa_K3861015 and BBa_K3861006 for further information.
