OpdA Signal Peptide
27 amino acid native signal peptide from the OpdA enzyme from Agrobacterium tumefaciens which helps in extracellular secretion of an attached protein into the periplasmic space.
Usage and Biology
This part was used in our project to enable secretion of the OpdA-SpyTag002 family of fusion proteins to the periplasmic space for easier purification and minimized risk of intracellular aggregation.
