Applications of BBa_K091157

This part was not clonable even after many attempts. We had it synthesized in conjunction with another part but when the two parts were separated, K091157 was unclonable. Perhaps some secondary structure prevents it from being cloned.

After many attempts at assembly, we were not able to build this part. See this [http://www.bio.davidson.edu/courses/genomics/2008/DeLoache/HonorsThesis.pdf document] for many information on the failed attempts at assembly. We have moved on to a different design of the promoter, in part because we discovered cross reactivity between LuxR and 3OC12. See the experience page for K091146 for more information on this cross reactivity.
