When assembled with GFP <partinfo>BBa_K3112009</partinfo>, and <partinfo>BBa_K3384311</partinfo> in pRS426, this construct expressed GFP. Then the activity of the bybrid promoter can be quantitatively measured through flow cytometer. As is shown in <b>Fig. 1</b>, the UAS<sub>TEF</sub>-pTEF promoter strength was expanded beyond the pTEF by 1.2-fold.

The tandem UAS elements of hybrid promoter could serve as synthetic transcriptional amplifiers to control expression levels.

Characterization

When assembled with GFP BBa_K3112009, and BBa_K3384311 in pRS426, this construct expressed GFP. Then the activity of the bybrid promoter can be quantitatively measured through flow cytometer. As is shown in Fig. 1, the UASTEF-pTEF promoter strength was expanded beyond the pTEF by 1.2-fold.
