J23113 promoter regulated constant expression of toxin CcdB
This construct is composed of constitutive promoter J23113 (from the Anderson promoter collection) and toxin CcdB. CcdB/CcdA is a type II toxin-antitoxin system originating from the E. coli chromosome. In our project, we used this construct to create a balanced CcdA/CcdB toxin-antitoxin system for preventing horizontal gene transfer.
