Solubility Helix for Pentatricopeptide Proteins
This N-terminal cab can be added when designing a PPR Protein. Together with the N-Terminal Cap for Pentatricopeptide Proteins (BBa_K3657010) it is used, to increase the solubility of the PPR Proteins. It can be combined with the different PPR Domains:
Adenine:BBa_K3657006
Guanine:BBa_K3657007
Uracil:BBa_K3657008
Cytosine:BBa_K3657009
Usage and Biology
PPRs are originally found in Arabidopsis thaliana . This part increases the solubility of the PPR Proteins when fused to it.
