ArgK Coding Sequence
This part is the coding sequence of the protein Phaselotoxin Resistant Ornithine Carbamoyltransferase (ROTCase), which substitutes the metabolic role of E. coli ornithine carbamoyltransferase in the bacterial urea cycle. This figure shows the Sequential Bi-Bi Mechanism of ROTCase, in which carbomylphosphate is the first substrate to bind, allowing ornithine to then bind to the complex. Sequence and Features
