C. Metallidurans promoter with Zn transcription factor binding site
Fluorescent RNA aptamer construct flanked by F30 tRNA scaffolds to protect it from degradation. Its transcription is repressed by two component transcription factor (CzcS and CzcR). Upon addition of Zinc, the promoter allows the E.coli sigma 70 polymerase to transcribe the construct, resulting in green fluorescence if the DFHBI fluorophore is added.
