This part was designed by us to add one of protein pair with high affinity conveniently. Two restriction sites of BsaI were added to the 3’ end of XTEN Linker, through which, the 3’ untranslated region of any gene can be inserted using Golden-Gate Assembly, with no worry about the multiple illegal sites contained in it. Furthermore, NanoLuc gene can be replaced with any protein in the same way.

This is the XTEN gene flanked with specific restriction sites that could be recognized by BsaI.

Usage and Biology

This part was designed by us to add one of protein pair with high affinity conveniently. Two restriction sites of BsaI were added to the 3’ end of XTEN Linker, through which, the 3’ untranslated region of any gene can be inserted using Golden-Gate Assembly, with no worry about the multiple illegal sites contained in it. Furthermore, NanoLuc gene can be replaced with any protein in the same way.
