YPRCtau3 downstream homologous sequence

Usage

YPRCtau3 downstream homology arm part shall be used together with YPRCtau3 upstream homology arm part (BBa_K3570016) to target a functional yeast integration locus. When YPRCtau3 upstream put to 5' of the biobrick together with YPRCtau3 downstream to the 3', the biobrick can be integrated into the S. cerevisiae's genome. It will do a homologous recombination within a region of type 4 long terminal repeat (Ty4 LTR) in chromosome XVI.

This sequence was identified from a personal communication with Dr. Jean-Marie Francois.

Experiments

Team iGEM Toulouse 2020 did not have sufficient time to complete the cloning and hence, to test this part functionality.
