scFv VH sequence of anti-CD3 antibody codon optimized for expression in E.coli

BBa_K3117033 is a single chain variable fragment (scFv) of the anti-CD3 antibody. This fragment was used to generate a fusion protein to create a bispecific antibody on the one hand directed against CD3, on the other part against GPA33.

Usage and Biology

CD3 is co-expressed with the T cell receptor on T cells. Binding leads to downstream signaling cascades and activation of the T cell (Chetty et al., 1994).
