FliA is a transcription factor involved in the formation of the flagella in E. coli.
The promotor of fliA is induced by FlhDC.
FliA seems to have also a positive autoregulation on its promotor.
We have introduced mutations in the sequence of fliA promotor in order to get rid of the PstI and EcoRI restriction sites.
