We constructed a FRET system for the detection of TEVp by the CFP-target sequence-YFP. When TEVp was expressed, the FRET system showed fluorescence transfer; when TEVp was not expressed, there was no fluorescence transfer. Finally, the fluorescent color expressed by the FRET system can judge the activity of TEVp.
