Basic Repressor Unit

This composite part is the basic constitution of our AND gate, repressing pTet with TetR protein regulated by phiF promoter.

Usage and Biology

pPhlF is an orthogonal promoter repressed by PhlF Repressor. In the absence of PhlF repressor, produced by the lactate promoter, this part is constitutively expressing TetR, which represses the production of BBa_K3320013.

Assembly

This part was cloned on pUC19 vector, totaling 4587 bp.
