GFPmut3 + HlyA

This is GFPmut3 based on BBa_E0040 with a secretion tag from the alpha-hemolysin system.

Usage and Biology

GFP is a fluorescent protein from Aequorea victoria. By adding the HlyA sequence to the C-terminus of the gene, this allows the fusion of this signal peptide to the GFP, enabling its secretion directly from the cytosol into the extracellular environment.
