RBS for bacillus subtilis

RBS for protein translation in B. subtilis

Usage and Biology

The RBS is the location in which a ribosome binds to the mRNA and initiates the translation. The following RBS can be used in Bacillus subtilis for translation of mRNA into protein. In our case the RBS was used to initiate the transcription of heterologous expressed casein and whey proteins in Bacillus subtilis (BBa_K2924033, BBa_K2924052, BBa_K2924054).
