We use MFα1+hexa-His+ AGα1, which works together to realize the method. MFα1 can express a signal peptide that guide the fusion protein out the cell membrane. Hexa-His and AGα1 together can express hexahistidine-α-agglutinin fusion protein. It has a GPI anchor at the bottom that can stuck the C-terminal of the α-agglutinin in the cell wall, and the hexahistidine will be placed on the N-terminal. We characterized its ability to adsorb nickel ions on the surface of <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae</em> cell wall.
