Lipase-Psychrobacter sp 7195.
Lipase A1 from Antarctic deep sea bacterium, Psychrobacter sp 7195., can catalyze the hydrolysis of triacylglycerols to glycerol and monoacylglycerols. We utilize the characteristic of lipase-having different catalytic activity under different temperature, to sense the temperature change. Lipase A1 reaches its catalytic activity peak at about 30℃, and decreases as temperature rise or drop. Furthermore, to purify our lipase A in an easier way, we design a His-tag sequence behind the lipase A.
