RBS-AraC-Term

This part consists of an RBS and the coding sequence for the araC protein as well as an already existing Terminator (BBa_B0014). AraC is a repressor protein that binds to the pBAD promoter inhibiting the transcription of downstream genes. AraC inhibits gene expression in the absence of arabinose by binding to the operator units present within the araC and pBAD promoter sequences by producing a DNA loop.
